PALS Course (Paediatric Advanced Life Support)
The PALS course provides advanced paediatric resuscitation training for healthcare professionals who may be required to assess and manage critically ill or injured infants and children.
The Paediatric Advanced Life Support course develops a structured approach to recognising respiratory failure, shock, arrhythmias and cardiac arrest in paediatric patients. The programme combines clinical assessment, physiology, resuscitation algorithms, practical skills and scenario-based learning to help clinicians manage paediatric emergencies with greater confidence.
The emphasis is on recognising deterioration early, making appropriate treatment decisions and working effectively as part of a resuscitation team.

The course is suitable for healthcare professionals involved in the emergency or critical care management of children, including:
