Description
The course provides a comprehensive overview of high-quality Basic Life Support (BLS), covering key aspects such as airway management and ventilation techniques using adjuncts and supraglottic airway devices. Participants learn the proper use of a manual defibrillator and gain skills in identifying and managing reversible causes of cardiac arrest. Pharmacological interventions during cardiac arrest are also discussed, along with the management of post-cardiac arrest situations (ROSC). Additionally, the course delves into the ethical considerations surrounding resuscitation efforts. This course covers the basics of paediatric assessment, management and escalation.
