Terms and Conditions for Online Bookings at Epic Institute of Emergency Medicine (Pty) Ltd (T/A Epic EM)

1. Booking Confirmation:
   All bookings made through our online platform are subject to confirmation by Epic EM. A booking confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided by the user upon successful booking.
2. Payment:
   Payment for bookings must be made in full at the time of booking. Epic EM accepts payments via credit/debit card or other specified methods. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

3. Cancellations and Refunds:
   Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to Epic EM at least 14 (fourteen) days prior to the scheduled training session. Cancellations made within 14 (fourteen) days of the training session may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be specified at the time of booking.

   Refunds for cancellations will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 14 (fourteen) business days, to the original payment method used for the booking.

   More than 14 (fourteen) days – 50% refund
   Less than 14 (fourteen) days – Non-refundable

4. Rescheduling:
   Participants may request to reschedule their booking to an alternative date or time, subject to availability and Epic EM ‘s approval. Requests for rescheduling must be made in writing via email to info@epicem.co.za to the scheduled training session.

   Notice Period
   Within less than 14 (fourteen) days of course date
   • 50% of the course fee will be payable to rebook the course at a later date
   • Coupon code will be given to the student for 50% off the next booking

5. Attendance:
   Participants are responsible for ensuring their punctual attendance at the scheduled training session. Late arrivals may result in exclusion from the session, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
6. Course Content and Materials:
   Epic EM reserves the right to modify course content, schedules, and training materials as deemed necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance.
7. Intellectual Property:
   All training materials provided by Epic EM are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Participants agree not to reproduce, distribute, or share any training materials without prior written consent from Epic EM.
8. Liability:
   Epic EM shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience sustained by participants during the training session.
9. Privacy Policy:
   Personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with Epic EM’s Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law:
    These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
