This product is two courses bundled into one, and allows the customer to book for the ACLS course at the same time as the BLS Course.
The BLS course is required as a prerequisite for the ACLS course, and can be completed the day before the ACLS course dates. This bundle includes courier for the manuals using Postnet to Postnet or alternate reasonable option.
Basic Life Support Course
Time: Approx 5-6 hours dependant on student numbers
Running from 13:00 – 18:00
CPD Points: 10 CPD points with the HPCSA
Materials Provided: BLS Manual
Provides up-to-date information on the management on numerous life-threatening emergencies such as CPR, AED use and chocking.
Ensures providers are confident in their Practical capabilities and knowledge needed in these areas.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course
Time: Approx 16 hours of training (over 2 days)
08:00 – 16:00 Both days
CPD points: 28 Clinical and 2 ethics points with HPCSA
Materials Provided: ACLS Manual and Cards
Provides up-to-date information on the management on numerous life-threatening emergencies and includes the management of post-ROSC patients and airway emergencies.
Ensures providers are confident in their Practical capabilities and knowledge needed in these areas.
